Workplace Medical Emergencies happen every day and we can prepare your staff for these medical emergencies. Our CPR, First Aid and AED classes are both educational and fun. Our philosophy is that learning should be fun. We feel that if you have fun, laugh and the CPR class is interesting you will enjoy yourself and will absorb and retain the material better. Another major difference, all of our instructors have actually performed CPR, First Aid and used AEDs on real people. Not all instructors have real world CPR First Aid AED experience, they simply read about CPR and First Aid in a book. We believe real world experience makes for a better instructor and believe you will too. All of our courses are designed to comply with the most current OSHA regulations. We offer onsite group safety training classes at your business or you can attend one of our group classes held at our Jupiter - Palm Beach County training classroom.

What is C.P.R.? Answer: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency medical procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest or, in some circumstances, respiratory arrest. CPR is performed in hospitals, or in the community by laypersons or by emergency response professionals.
CPR consists of artificial blood circulation and artificial respiration (i.e. chest compressions and lung ventilation). CPR is generally continued, usually in the presence of advanced life support, until the patient regains a heart beat (called "return of spontaneous circulation" or "ROSC") or is declared dead.
CPR is unlikely to restart the heart, but rather its purpose is to maintain a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and the heart, thereby delaying tissue death and extending the brief window of opportunity for a successful resuscitation without permanent brain damage. Defibrillation and advanced life support are usually needed to restart the heart.
What is an AED? Answer: An Automated External Defibrillator or AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient. The AED is able to treat the patient by application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm. AEDs are designed to be simple so that anyone can use one. Proper use of an AED is taught in our CPR first aid classes.
